Epic. Monumental. Grand. Those are the things I want to do in Cabo San Lucas. Read on to find out which activities made the cut.

1. Visit El Arco and Playa del Amor. You will need a boat to get to these iconic locations. The water is usually calm and perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Take plenty of pictures. They will look amazing in your Instagram feed.
2. Go whale watching. You can see the humpback whales jumping and spouting from shore, but to see them better up-close take a whale watching tour. You’re almost guaranteed to see these giants.
3. Visit Flora Farm. Hidden away at the end of a bumpy road, Flora Farm grows organic flowers, vegetables, and herbs. Eat breakfast or lunch at their farm-to-table restaurant, located on the property. Share everything, family- style, for maximum flavors.
4. Catch some rays at Medano Beach. One of the few beaches safe for swimming, the golden sand beach also has jet skiing and parasailing. Pro Tip: Walk further down the beach, away from town, if you are looking for a quiet place to hang out.
5. Hike up the Pedregal. This path full of switch-backs will take you to one of the highest points in Cabo. From here you’ll be able to see the entire town, the Pacific Ocean, and the Sea of Cortez. Pro Tip: Go early as it gets hot quickly. You will want to be finished by 9:30 am. Also, remember to bring water.
6. Swim with whale sharks. Don’t let the name scare you. These gentle giants, which can grow up to 40 feet in length, feed on plankton and krill. A spotter plane will watch from above and communicate their location with the boat captain. When the guide says, “jump!” it’s time to leap in the water and marvel as the whale sharks swim by.
7. Take a sunset cruise. It’s one of the most romantic things you can do in Cabo. As you sail around Land’s End, the sky will turn neon pink and fiery orange. Then quietly glide back to land as the night reveals a canopy of stars.

As you can see, there is a huge collection of epic activities to do in Cabo San Lucas, and I’ve barely scratched the surface. Which one is your favorite?
