When it comes to visiting Magic Kingdom Park there is so much to do. Many people think it’s just like any other amusement park and make the mistake of trying to cram everything into one day. On the contrary, it’s an entirely different beast. Treating it this way will really help you to maximize and enjoy your experience there. Here are five reasons I always encourage my clients to spend at least 2 park days in Magic Kingdom Park.

1. It removes the pressure of needing to do it all at once.

Like I said, many people try to cram everything into one day. Approaching the park this way tends to result in stress, overwhelm and exhaustion. Splitting things into two park days allows you to reduce the pressure to get it all done. As a travel advisor, I make every effort to help you plan the perfect day, but things happen and having a second day to revisit something or try something new really helps take the pressure off!

2. You can revisit your favorites from your first day.

Most people find that there are several things that they’d love to do again. If you haven’t visited Magic Kingdom Park, we know you’ll find your favorites. If you have visited the park, you likely already have a list in your mind. Finding time to really enjoy the rides and experiences you love is sure to add extra magic to your vacation.

3. You can enjoy a table service or character meal without worrying about it eating into your time.

I’m personally a huge fan of character dining and unique table service meal experiences. However, these can really cut into your time and eat up a large portion of your day. I always encourage clients to prioritize this on one of your park days and opt for quick service options on your other park day. This allows you to save some money and really maximize your time to enjoy everything there is to offer.

4. You can enjoy different perspectives for parades and fireworks.

There are a million wonderful spots to view the parades and fireworks. Going twice allows you to enjoy double the fun when it comes to these experiences. If you’re not a parade or fireworks junkie, riding those heavy hitting rides during the fireworks is a great way to avoid long lines.

5. It’s a fantastic way to “book end” your Walt Disney World vacation.

Magic Kingdom Park is incredibly nostalgic for so many people. Just being in the park tends to engender happiness, joy and delight. We feel it’s the best way to begin and end your vacation because it’s where the magic began.
